Camilla

These are some shots I art directed and did in collaboration with my friend Paul who was behind the camera. I was very much inspired by Thierry Le Goues “Soul” work but felt it didn’t go far enough. His shots of female beauty were mesmerizing but for me there was more of a statement to be made about the beauty and appropriation of an almost “unbearable blackness”. Camilla was the perfect model for this project.
